Colors of Success- Gang Outreach Street Worker –Part-time
Under direct supervision of the Executive Director, this position will be responsible for reaching out to identified gang members ages 16 to 24 and linking them to various services, with the goal of reducing project participant’s attachment to gangs and gang activity.
Work closely with the SL Gang Unit, and the intervention committee Action Team, (ICAT).
Must have computer skills, group facilitation skills, good communication and writing skills. Have a minimum of three years working with gangs and have very strong knowledge of gang cultures. Bi-lingual preferred in Spanish, Polynesian languages, etc.
Must be able to work late nights and weekends.
